5 whole stars at a two dollar sign price! Found the place on Yelp with the hopes of a healthy yet filling breakfast. Dolche came through and then some. I had the chilaquiles with mole and green salsas with added chicken. Paired it with the "anti-inflammatory" juice drink. Flavors are bold and in beautiful harmony. They don't skimp on the seasonings, herbs, or time spent. The execution of each part of the dish was treated with attention to detail that is palate pleasing. The rosemary potatoes are moist yet crispy and rolled in fresh rosemary and parsley. The gentleman at the door greeted me and his service was kind with the right degree of presence. Dolce is killing it and you deserve to have a bite

10/10 hole in the wall. It's a smaller Mexican Cafe, the cafe de olla is so good, they also have a lot of fresh agua and smoothie options. For me, the real star is their delicious breakfast and lunch options, and they're very generous with their portions. Torta de lomo are their specialty. The inside seating is small, but the service is super good, very attentive. They DoorDash too, also really good.

Such a cute hole in the wall place. The restaurant itself is pretty small, maybe only 7-8 tables available. We went on a Sunday around 12:30pm, wasn't busy at all. We got welcomed and seated right away. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive. The food was also very good and the cafe de olla was super delicious! Can't wait to come back again soon.

Dolce Café is a cozy restaurant that opens daily from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM, offering a delightful dining experience. Their menu primarily features Mexican dishes presented in an original and artful way. Each plate is beautifully decorated, making the food look as delicious as it tastes--consistently well-prepared and full of flavor. One standout dish is El Desayuno del Patrón, my personal favorite for breakfast. Every visit reaffirms my belief that Dolce Café is one of the best restaurants I've ever tried. The service adds to the charm, with a warm, familial atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. Despite the small size of the café, the wait times are usually short, and it's always worth it, given the care they put into every plate. In addition to their food, Dolce Café offers a variety of beverages, including fresh natural juices and a wide selection of coffee options. It's the kind of place where you could happily eat every day. If you're looking for a satisfying breakfast or brunch with exceptional service, Dolce Café is a must-visit.

This Cafe has now become my favorite Cafe in the SouthBay. Been to many but this one is the complete package, the food, drinks, vibe & customer service is on point. Me & my daughter Andia love coming here for breakfast. It is small but very cute inside & they do move fast, great for a date or a family of 4-6, try to come before 11am on weekends it could get busy. What I love about this place is how all different people come here, tho it's based on Mexican food you'll see young & older white, Black & Asian people here. Last time I went 3 young black men next to us we're eating Birria omelettes with beans & a Mango drink, they were eating more Mexican than me & I loved that! Everything we've eaten here has been great, portions are a perfect size for a good quick breakfast or lunch. They have one of the better beans I've had, it has a chorizo flavor to it & they have the best rosemary potatoes & French Toast I've ever had. Love their omelettes my favorite is the Paisa Omelette. My other favorite item is the Molletes De Frijole y Queso, it's torta bread with spread beans & cheese & salsa, just like mom made growing up, delicious. We also love the presentation of the food, you can tell the cooks take pride in cooking their food. And their drinks are amazing, from Cafe De La Jolla & Agaus like the Guva agua which was amazing & me & my daughter's favorite the Chocolate Banana milk shake, my Andia said it taste exactly like the one I use to make her when she was little, honestly I think this one is better. Overall this cafe is an easy 5 star experience for me, it's me & my daughter's go to place for a good breakfast & some bonding. We can't wait to go back, keep up the great work Dolche & see you soon :)

Nice small spot to come eat brunch. The service was great. Friendly environment and staff were all very helpful. Definitely would recommend eating here. Servings of food and coffee were also generous compared to other brunch places I've eaten at. They also seemed to have opened a second location in National City. I hope business continues to go well! Thanks again guys, my new wife and I enjoyed it. :)

Very small restaurant, but not too busy on a Friday morning. Can't imagine how it gets on the weekends. But food and service were great!! Except for the girl not bringing my friend the coffee that he ordered. But I understand they were short staffed. They were very friendly and the food and drinks were good, therefore it wasn't a biggie. She was taking care of all the tables and you can tell she really did try to stay on top of everything. My cucumber chia lemonade was delicious, my kids really enjoyed their food as well. Definitely will be back when I'm in town again.

There's a couple of pages missing, but I could only add a total of 10 for my review! This place used to be on Third Ave, still in Chula Vista, at a much smaller location. I've been wanting to try their new place. It's a lot bigger than the last location they were at. Parking is very very minimal, so be aware of that when coming in. If you come during peak time, they run out of seats very quickly because of how small they are. They have tons of options for food and drinks! So many to choose from. I was here just a couple of days ago. I ordered the carne asada breakfast. It's was really good. And I was surprised at how big their horchata was! I couldn't even finish it. The prices are very reasonable with the portions they give. I did speak with the owner and other workers because I remembered them. They said they're hoping to find a bigger location in Chula Vista with better parking too. Because they share the parking lot with other tenants in the building including the liquor store. The employees including the owner are so sweet! They speak primarily Spanish here, but I did not feel out of place or unwelcome just because I didn't speak Spanish.
